Academic Program Reviews
Academic Program Reviews are the primary means the university has to evaluate the effectiveness of its units in teaching, research/creative activity, and service. The campus administration participates in the reviews and treats both the process and the outcomes very seriously. Documents from the reviews, including the self-study, reviewers’ reports, and follow-up discussions, are archived in the Provost’s office and are referred to frequently. Even though there is never enough money to implement all recommendations, Program Review reports are considered when budget allocations are being made.
