Reporting Staff & Offices

The Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs has primary responsibility for the academic activities on the Knoxville campus. Reporting to the Provost are nine academic colleges on the Knoxville campus, the instructional programs of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, the University Library, the Success Center, Enrollment Services, and the Chancellor’s Honors Program.

Vice Provosts

Vice Provost for Academic Operations (currently vacant). The Vice Provost for Academic Operations oversees undergraduate education and academic program reviews.

Carolyn Hodges is the Vice Provost and Dean of the Graduate School and has authority over the direction and the composition of graduate education on the Knoxville campus.
